International Land Modelling Forum (ILMF): ILMF was created from discussions amongst various international land model teams at a meeting called the Land Surface Modelling Summit (LSMS) held in Oxford, UK, from September 12-14, 2022. The ILMF provides a forum for scientists working on land models to collaborate, share ideas and support specific projects. ILMF supports several working groups on specific topics.

National Earth System Modelling Strategy (natESM): natESM develops advanced models to understand and predict environmental changes in Germany. It integrates the atmosphere, oceans, land, and ice to create comprehensive simulations. By fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, natESM aims to improve forecasts for weather, climate, and environmental impacts, aiding informed decision-making and addressing global challenges like climate change and natural disasters.

Investigating Nutrient Cycling in Terrestial Ecosystem (INCyTE): INCyTE aims to bridge biogeochemical experimentalists and earth system modelers to advance understanding of nutrient cycling’s impact on the global carbon cycle. It integrates diverse data, experimental approaches, and conceptual frameworks to enhance the representation of nutrient interactions in Earth System Models, ultimately improving predictions of terrestrial carbon dynamics.
